ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of a Steward will assist public on entry of the course on how to navigate the venue and subsequently provide key information during exiting to assure they exit at the correct point in an efficient manner. Our Stewards can be expected to carry out the following duties:

• Dealing with the public and assisting them with any questions they may have in relation to facilities at The Open. You will be provided with FAQ’s and Site Maps.
• Provide world class customer service and event information to our spectators.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in dealing and communicating with customers.
• Golf/ event experience is beneficial.

SKILLS

• Self-motivated and proactive and ready to work as part of a large team.
• Good communication skills.
• Durability and confidence to have conversations with members of the public.
• A knowledge of golf or The Open is desirable but not essential.
