ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Practice Ground Assistant is to ensure the highest standard of presentation for Players using the Practice Area facilities. Practice Ground Assistants can be expected to carry out the following duties:

  • Variety of different duties including sorting golf balls, washing and refilling baskets for players.
  • General maintenance around the areas, including ground line clearance and litter collecting.
  • If located on the chipping green, constant clearance and sorting balls, washing and restocking is required.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Golf/general event experience would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of golf etiquette is essential.

 

SKILLS

  • Self-motivated and proactive and ready to work as part of a small team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and to implement those independently.
