Our St Andrews based client is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the team in their busy Kitchen. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and sanitise food preparation areas
• Wash utensils and dishes and store them appropriately ensuring they are suitable for next use
• Sort, store and distribute ingredients
• Wash, peel, chop, cut and cook foodstuffs
• Dispose of all rubbish
• Organise all laundry ready for uplift
• Clean the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
• To be fully aware of and ensure adherence to and compliance with Health and Safety regualations
• Undertake any other cleaning duties asked by chefs on duty

REQUIREMENTS

• Scottish National 5 qualifications in English and Maths
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to learn systems and procedures
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with the Kitchen/Front of House teams
