ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the Green Marshal will be to take over from Security night shift teams to help protect the greens until the Club Marshals start their shift. Green Marshals can be expected to carry out the following duties:

• Green Marshals will be allocated a green each day. Please note that you may not be allocated the same green each day.
• Locate yourself at the green so you are visible to all.
• Liaise with green staff and marshals when they approach the green.
• Provide world  class customer service and event information to our spectators.

EXPERIENCE

• Golf/general event experience would be beneficial.

SKILLS

• Self-motivated and proactive and ready to work as part of a small team.
• Good communication skills.
• A knowledge of golf or The Open is desirable but not essential.
